Ministering during the annual end of year retreat, the Lord through Apostle Kure unveiled the year 2014 as the year of the LORD’S Passover; a year when the Lord will be deliberate in carrying us to our Canaan.
Explaining that as it was in the days of Moses when by the rod God demystified Pharaoh, his priesthood and throne; so will God do for us in this year. Remember that it was by the rod that God introduced Moses to Pharaoh and also divided the red sea, so did God disclose to us that He would empower our rods (giftings, and businesses) to swallow all other rods. It is the year that will come with a mind focused on preparing the church or God’s Kingdom against the coming collision between truth and the world from 2015. This is why our rods must be positioned to swallow other rods.
Speaking with a deep burden and warning Apostle Kure revealed that God said if our rods do not swallow the other rods in 2014 then the church will have no defense for the oncoming collision. It is the year which God has ordained to smite the Egyptians for His name sake so that we can plunder their gold and silver to build tabernacles of defense from the coming onslaught of hell against everything that is God in 2015. God, he said will empower and enlarge us in preparation for this collision. The blessings of 2014 are the gathering of strength for the next three to seven years. Our salvation in 2015 will come from our labour and faithfulness in 2014. God will hand over territories and dominions to the saints who will yield their rods to the Lord just as Moses did.
Exodus 14:13-16
13 And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.
14 The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.
15 And the Lord said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward: 16 But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.

It is important to note from the above scripture the words:
$1· Fear not
$1· You shall see the salvation of the Lord
$1· The Lord will fight for you and you will hold your peace
$1· Yet, He commanded Moses-lift up thy rod and stretch out thine hand over the sea and divide it.
In the same way is God commanding us not to fear the year or wonder how these things will be except to believe and stretch out our rod to divide the sea. In Exodus 6:1-6 when the battle was raging between Moses and Pharaoh, and Moses in despair cried unto the Lord. The Lord said to Moses:
$11) That with a strong hand and arm shall He force pharaoh to drive Israel out of the land unto their liberty.
$12) He appeared to them by a new name which the patriarch Abraham did not know. He appeared to them as JEHOVAH.
$13) His goal was to honor his covenant with Abraham concerning the land of Canaan.
Beloved, the year 2014 is the year of Jehovah part two, when He will not only stretch out His strong hand and arm, but He will empower our rods to swallow other rods so that His covenant will not be mocked in the oncoming collision. Our priesthood should swallow the priesthood of hell and our businesses will plunder the others.
Finally, the Lord explained and said that as it was in the days of Pharaoh that He had to pass over the land of Egypt to smite their firstborns of man and beast, so will He take away the strength and the pride of satan in men and hand them over to us so that we can defend His covenant in the coming years of rebellion of darkness against God. We must understand that the first born scripturally represents:
$11. Beginning of strength
$12. Excellency of power
$13. Excellency of dignity
$14. Might
God by an oath in this 14th year will Passover the nations by a mighty and strong hand to smite thrones, dominions and powers and force them to submit their might, power, dignity and strength to us. Central to this will be the submitting of their pieces of silver and gold to us in such a way that we will be in so much abundance.
Consonant to this, the Lord has instructed that we follow the pattern He instituted as a memorial of the Passover in breaking into the year in the first month. He demands that our priesthood should arise to take hold of the year through two sets of 7 days of fasting and prayers that culminates in the evening tide. The defining key for the days of these fasts are the new moons of January.
January 2014 peculiarly and significantly begins and ends with a new moon. January 1stand 30th are new moon days. As we do know, the Lord’s covenant with Israel in terms of times and season is measured by the new moon. Psalms 104:19 declares that God appointed the moon for seasons while Psalms 89:37 calls the moon God’s faithful witness. The number 7 is the number of the Passover.

19 He appointed the moon for seasons: the sun knoweth his going down.
Psalms 89:37
37 It shall be established for ever as the moon, and as a faithful witness in heaven. Selah.
The Lord also instructed that beyond the fast we should use the evening tides (3pm-6pm) to possess the entire Gregorian year 2014 from the 1stto 31stof January.
Explaining why the evening tides, the Lord said that 2014 will be characterized by conspiracies and tumults from multitudes. Citing Isaiah 17:12-14 as the key scripture for this, Apostle Kure declared that there will be a noise of multitudes. Political tumults will be common place next year. God will play with our intelligence in politics. Politicians will suffer trauma of the soul and the spirit. These tumults will be quarterly, and it will swing from party to party. It will be a year of dirty politics. In the midst of these we are to stay quiet, and from the place of quietness hear God’s counsel. Do not follow the tumults in choosing a side or switching from one party to the other. Counselors must give counsel from the place of truth. Wisdom demands that politicians remain quiet until about the 3rd quarter of the year before they decide where to pitch their tent lest they become victim of the attached woes that this noise will bring to men.
The desperation of the politicians and the dirty nature of the emerging politicking will lead to an attempt to assassinate President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.
In the words of Apostle Kure:“As I knelt down to pray a being like an apparition passed over me and I heard a voice say: ‘Beware of the assassin: there will be an attempt on the life of President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan’.
These attempts may come from sorcery, poison or the bullet. By whatever means this has been fashioned, God’s will is that we stop this hand of the assassin and the possible confusion that will accompany the success of such as assassination. It will tinker with the history of our nation backwardly and will increase the woes of the nation. We must stop this. The year, he further warned will be characterized by the multitude carrying out assassinations. Each man must beware.
Due to this, the Lord from the Isaiah 17:12-14 scripture has instructed that we use the altar of the evening, which as indicated is ordained to trouble those who trouble, rob and spoil us. We must use the one month as a head of the year altar to build both the Passover altar by the two new moon January 7day fast, and the evening tide prayer for one month.
